Then they'll have to face me tomorrow, after I've had time to hone my anger.

[WHEREVER PHOENIX IS - lili is going to be approaching! gingerly. she looks like she's hesitating a bit every time she puts weight on her left leg, but it's fine. she'll be approaching with two cups of tea and... the gentle buzzing of bees following her?

Beau and I looked everywhere for you yesterday, you know. You don't deserve this.

offers the tea out to him anyway]

[ anyway phoenix is just by the washing machines in his jorts and no shirt, because he's washing his poor clothing.... he's got a frozen bag of peas against his poor head, but there are scars on the back and front. they look faded, though, it's probably fine. ]

It wasn't our plan to get trapped in there, trust me.

[ he takes a long look at the tea, then nods and takes it. give him a second to notice that she's struggling (and the bees??). he's slow tonight. ]

[ very slowly... but he's been taking it easy this week. this mummy man ]

Mm... I feel busy - but it's a good kind of busy for once, instead of the frantic kind.

week 5, friday

[ phoenix is already in the garden, aways away.... but he spots lili, and slowly makes his way over. looks like he's got the start of a bouquet in his hands? huh, he took the lessons seriously. ]

Hey, Lili. How are you holding up?

[phoenix is good - but lili's in the gazebo. she looks like she's gazing at something on the ground but the closer he looks, the more he'll find his answer. her eyes are red, tear tracks around the edges of her face that she didn't manage to wipe away. the bandages on her legs have splotches of blood from reopened injuries and she looks.

so, so tired.]

[ since she's probably had her wounds fussed over by much more medically capable people than him. ]

Been working on this flower arrangement. [ it's mostly bluebells and lilies. there's a sunflower in there because he's a useless man ] For you.

[ eventually, phoenix will hobble his way over to the kitchen.... and see lili there already. he did want to talk to her, but now that he's actually seeing her, he's kind of at a loss for words. ]

[that does seem to be the mood today.

but lili is cooking. it smells like japanese food. it also smells very good. when he speaks, she glances to him - and then looks back to what she was doing.]
